Aleena Siddiqui : Inspiring Journey to Power Lifting.
MyPencilDotcom : Aleena, How was your heavy weight ( Gym ) lifting started?
Aleena: It started first and foremost because I was always passionate about being strong this is what I always knew that I am mentally rocking strong but I wanted to be physically strong as well apart from my individual choice back 4 years ago I was under the symptoms of PCOD I was facing severe health problems which kicked me more to be into gyming ( Gym ) and of course I am into the glamorous industry so I have to be maintained all the time, therefore, its been 4+ years now I am consistent towards powerlifting.
“As such nothing was a challenge its all your mind game how u want to go about it if you are mentally prepared”Aleena Siddiqui
MyPencilDotCom : What were the challenges before starting the weight lifting?
Aleena : As such nothing was a challenge its all your mind game how u want to go about it if you are mentally prepared for something nothing in this world can stop u doing anything but of course yes diet plays a major role and consistency, patience once u lose the patience the game is gone apart from your mental barriers the only thing which I faced was the acceptance of public as people don’t accept females lifting heavy they are always there to pull u back but u got to be going.
MyPencilDotCom : Please tell us about your Daily food diet/intake.
Aleena : I practice strength and conditioning training I am into powerlifting, therefore, the only thing which is my friend is high protein intake apart from high protein I make sure to include everything in my diet all essentials and nonessential amino acids, fibre and carbs too.
Plan for 10 years down the line. I look forward to myself as one of the most successful people in my own mind goals probably down the lane I will be the companion of someone and someone who will be the happy anchor and a super proud lifter.
MyPencilDotCom : Why is women empowerment required? which all areas need social attention to support women.
Aleena : This is a vast topic to have words about in crisp all I believe is women empowerment should begin within one’s place let your daughter, sister, mother, wife take their individual decisions once they are strong enough to make their own decisions and follow their own choices they are empowered already as we say change begins with us.
MyPencilDotCom : Everyone wants to be famous, Social Sites like Instagram / FB helps a lot these days. how you feel it helped you.
Aleena : I am someone who always believed in lifting and uplifting others social median has its pros and cons. when a platform offers u recognition it comes in both the ways positive and negative, yes it has helped in reaching out to people and I Can inspire other females as well to live their life the way they want apart from that yet some people still bully you for your independency hopefully with time I will able to overcome their mindsets.
MyPencilDotCom : You are also an anchor that you started 5 years ago, confidence is the first word when it comes to public speaking. Tell us more about how you developed your speaking & presentation skills.
Aleena : This is what I believe if you love something and you are keenly passionate about it you will go to any extended limit to overcome your lacking I always wanted to be an anchor yes without any doubt initially it was even difficult for me to handle big crowd but with time and experience, I have become perfect at my work so the answer is your willingness how badly u want it and experience turns u out exactly what u seek for.
