Brahmastra motion poster out: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt starrer to release on Sept 9, 2022

INTRODUCTION

The makers of one of the most-awaited films, Brahmastra, released a motion poster on Wednesday (December 15). The poster was unveiled by Alia along with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji at the Thyagraj Stadium Complex in New Delhi. The movie will be released on September 9, 2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the multi-starrer project was originally scheduled to release in 2019 but was delayed to the summer of 2020 and then to December, but ultimately did not hit the screens. The duo was seen engaging in candid conversation with each other and reminiscing about their shooting days. They also interacted with the media.

Karan Johar announced the release date of the motion poster of the film via a short video on Tuesday. Karan announced in a video of 19 seconds, “Our fire is about to reach your hearts.”. #Brahmastra motion poster out tomorrow!” The clip was shared by actor Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Ayan Mukerji. 

ALIA BHATT, AYAN SEEK BLESSINGS AT BANGLA SAHIB

Ayan Mukerji and Alia Bhatt visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib earlier in the day to seek the blessings of God. Alia posted a few pictures of her holy visit to the Gurudwara to Instagram. She can be seen happily posing with Ayan in the images. She looks very graceful in a mint green ethnic suit.

The superhero adventure directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra, is part one of a trilogy. It stars Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva and Alia Bhatt as Isha, who supports him in his pursuit of the all-powerful Brahmastra. The film also stars Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.

Dharma Productions is producing “Brahmastra: Part One” in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, in association with Fox Star Studios.Brahmastra’s first motion poster was unveiled at a special event in Delhi on Wednesday.

ABOUT THE POSTER

Ranbir Kapoor, showing off his fluffy avatar, looks great in the photo with a VFX-enhanced trishul with Lord Shiva in the background. The powerful image under the heading “Part 1 Shiva” also shows the release date of the first part of the trilogy (September 9, 2022). 

The motion poster begins with Ranbir’s voice claiming something unknown to humanity is happening on Earth.Then Alia Bhatt asks him about it and wonders if he is the only one who felt this. Next, you’ll gain insights into his mysterious powers and how Ranbir Kapoor’s character Shiva was born for the public good. The video ends with Ranbir standing on a hill and having a trishul that complements the stunning image of Shiva in the background.

This film, which has been in the works for four years, will star Ranbir as Shiva, a man with special powers. The ‘modern-mytho’ drama also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role while Amitabh Bachchan will play Ranbir’s guru. The antagonist of the film will be played by Mouni Roy, while Nagarjuna will also play a pivotal role.

CONCLUSION

Brahmastra is backed by Dharma Productions, which reportedly has a huge budget. It’s been said that Ayan conceptualised the film back in 2011 when he was in the Himalayas working on Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. With an interest in mythology and growing up with films such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Avengers, Lord of the Rings, and fantasy fiction, the filmmaker wanted to create a new genre in Bollywood. For the Wake-Up Sid director, Brahmastra is not just a film but a ‘cinematic vision’ nurtured from his love and years of hard work.

Brahmastra, meanwhile, is an important project for Alia Bhatt and for Indian cinema in general. It’s “just the beginning” of a very emotional journey of sharing the film with the audience. Alia, who has always been critical of her work, believes in the greatness of her director’s vision despite her actor being critical of her work.
