Riya Sharma : Lately I was featured in the most prominent Forbes Magazine Modern Game changer of India 2020 and I was conferred with the National Service Excellence Award as Multifaceted personality of the in Delhi from Mr. Mahesh Bhupathi on April 10th, 2021.

Riya Sharma : I am the kind of person who believes in giving 100% effort no matter what!

Talking about my art, My foremost focus is the depiction and documentation of humans all around the world capturing their quotidian lives. My shots showcase my artistic maturity despite my young age. Travel attractions, historic monuments and places, village lives, social inequality, and exquisitely orchestrated portraits are all within the framework of my photography. I capture them under the vigilance of my eloquent approach and my desire to establish connections. I encapsulate the core of the human soul, summoning all to a new awareness and openness to cultural diversity and connection to humanity through the appreciation of the universes that surround us.

I aim to capture the mesmerizing moments in my photographs while sticking to my distinctive style and vision creating imagery that evokes a sense of connection, understanding, and integrity. The subjects of the photographs are moderately diverse, and the stylistic aspects remain relatively consistent throughout my series.

Mypencildotcom: You are also mentioned in the world records book in the UK. Would you prefer to tell us and the readers about it?

Riya Sharma : I majorly hold 2 world records

To begin with first one is for maximum Tiktok videos in 3 minutes in addition to it another is for contribution of substantial photos collection on social issue in Riya Art Gallery ( 7 years )

Mypencildotcom : Do you aspire to become an entrepreneur focusing on multi-faceted business segments as you do get involved in various facets already?

Riya Sharma: Initially the prime eminence of a successful entrepreneur is passion, No one can achieve anything if they do not have the passion to reach that goal.I have always been passion driven and inspired so if i get an opportunity which includes stuff for which I am passionate about then I will definitely follow the dream and try to become a successful entrepreneur.

Mypencildotcom: What is your view about women being independent? Is it actually crucial for women to be self reliant?

Riya Sharma: With the changing times, independence must not only be owned by men but also women. Independence has different meaning for every person out there. If a woman is self-reliant she has a proper say in the society and she gets to choose what she wants to do further in her life. Not only for women it is crucial but for all. Everyone must have the right to be what they are and not what society wants them to be. This makes a person more confident and emotionally strong. So do it for yourself rather than thinking about why and why not. In conclusion I would say that this covid time was a boon for women as many have started their own businesses and working from home has helped them alot.

Mypencildotcom: It seems that you are fond of fashion, you elegantly and sophisticatedly carry yourself. We are big fans! Do share your secret of your charming personality and fashion sense.

I strongly believe this quote. As far as my style is concerned, I feel it’s “Whatever I’m feeling” for the day. Be it lazy, tired or creative. Although on most days it’s just a Kurti with a pair of jeans or leggings.Staying minimal along with comfy is my fetish. I don’t shop for very highly priced fashion, if i can get an even more good deal in less price!

My style is usually

· Comfortable

· Feminine, chic and cool

· Traditional yet western

Mypencildotcom : How do you see yourself 10 years down the line?

Riya Sharma : To be honest, I have never really thought about that far in the future. I believe in living the present to the brim. I do not have a precise role in mind, but my aim over the next ten years is to be at a place where I can make a difference, and fulfill all my dreams related to my career and support my family no matter what . Career advancement is significant to me, so I am looking forward to taking on more responsibilities and gaining more industry exposure in the process.
