INTRODUCTION

Sana Khan, who left showbiz for Islam last year, has left for Saudi Arabia with her husband Mufti Anas to perform umrah. Sana Khan shared a snap of herself and her husband Mufti Anas taken during the flight on her Instagram account.

The caption of Sana Khan’s post reads, “She is going to experience the happiness of Umrah with her husband. What a lovely time, what a lovely hour, when we are able to be present in the Ka’bah of God.”

Sana Khan wrote, “This is our most beautiful journey since our marriage.” Before her marriage, the former Bollywood actress who has starred in many Indian films had announced she was giving up showbiz for the sake of Islam.

She married Mufti Anas last year, who hails from Gujarat, an Indian state.

She said that she would now live her life in service to humanity and in accordance with Allah Almighty’s commands.

Sana shared a picture earlier this week of her and her husband meeting with Mufti Menk, a noted Zimbabwean scholar. The former actress wrote the caption: “Faith and good friends. May the Almighty bless us with good company; empathetic, caring and dependable. MARRIED LIFE

Sana Khan, a former Bigg Boss contestant, married Anas Sayed on November 20, and her family and friends attended the ceremony. She posted a photo and the news on Instagram, writing, “Loved each other for Allah’s sake.” Married each other for Allah’s sake. Khan wore a traditional red and gold lehenga with intricately embroidered detailing throughout, but more noticeable near its border. It was paired with a matching sheer dupatta. The actor accessorised his look with gold jewellery, including a statement neckpiece and mathapatti.

The actress announced her withdrawal from the movie industry in October. She announced in her long post on Instagram that “I declare today that from today onwards, I have resolved to say goodbye to my showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the orders of my creator. All brothers and sisters are requested to pray for me to Allah to accept my repentance and grant me the true ability to live in accordance with my determination to spend my life following the commandments of my creator and in the service of humanity, and grant me perseverance in it”.

TV Commercials

Kahn starred in more than 50 commercials, including the July 2007 Sirishkander cosmetics commercial. She also oversaw the secret temptation deodorant brand Yatra.com and the Xbox 360 video game console. 

In March 2007, Khan’s television commercial for men’s underwear brand Amul Macho showed that he was provocatively scrubbing his underwear, simulating an orgasm. It caused a lot of controversy and was banned by the Government of India because of sexual profanity. Khan said, “Forgetting about banning and people talking about morchas against me, burning my poster in Bombay, the creative space loved it.” The company said Khan. The company rehired Khan, shot a sequel to the commercial with a different theme, and released it in February 2008.

Bigg Boss

In October 2012, Khan was a prominent contestant in the sixth season of the Indian version of Big Boss, the big brother of the reality television show. Before entering the show, she said, “I’m going to show off my age and the fact that I’m the youngest. I’m going inside without preparation. I want to voluntarily show myself to the world.” She gained a lot of popularity from the show and was able to stay on the show to the end, even though she finished in 3rd place. She told PTI, “I am happy to have reached top three. I did not expect this.”

PERSONAL LIFE

In February 2019, Khan confirmed her relationship with choreographer Melvin Louis. They got separated in February 2020.

On October 8, 2020, Khan posted a message on Instagram, leaving the entertainment industry, stating that she “serves humanity and follows the orders of her creator.” On November 21, 2020, Khan married Islamic scholar Mufti Anas Sayied in Surat.
