INTERVIEW WITH SAVANT SINGH PREMI

Mypencildotcom: When did you realized that you wanted to start your journey in acting?

Savant: During my college farewell, one of my teachers said that you dance very well so, you should try profession in acting. I brought some books, joined theatres and I realized that I was enjoying doing all these things and it makes me happy. After doing theatres, I decided to go Mumbai. Finally, I came here and things are going on.

Mypencildotcom: How was your feeling when you got your first project?

Savant: My first project was a Punjabi movie ‘Young Malang’ which I got in 2013 and I was happy after doing it. Then, my next movie came in 2016 which was ‘Loveshhuda’. Last year in December ‘Velle’ was released and now ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ has been released.

Mypencildotcom: How was your experience when you went to ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’?

Savant: It was a great experience. My family and friends were more excited to watch me in Kapil Sharma show. His set has very positive vibes and it was a great opportunity for me to promote my movie on his show and share my views.

Mypencildotcom: What are your plans for the upcoming years?

Savant: Actually, my journey has been full of hurdles and there were many who tried to bring me down but without worrying about the failures, I always tried to move forward. My family and friends are my constant supporters who always supported me and wanted me to establish a name in the industry. Sometimes, I get movies without any audition and then there are times where I gave many auditions but still, I wasn’t selected. So, I had gone through good and bad time and every failure makes you stronger and motivates you to move forward towards the success.

Mypencildotcom: How was your experience working with Karan Deol?

Savant: Karan is a very disciplined person and he always reaches on time. He is very polite and even I met the Deol family and it was a very big opportunity for me to meet all of them and especially my favorite Dharmendra Ji. They all are very warm and polite and I was very glad that I met them.

Savant: First of all, I would suggest everyone to watch ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ because it is very fantastic movie. Secondly, always stay happy and enjoy your life, keep everyone happy around you and always speak politely with everyone also, never give up in your life.
